Howdy CSI fans? With the tenth season of the show on air, it seems the show still has long way to go. The show also known as ‘CSI: Las Vegas’ which catches the attention of its viewers with its gritty subject matter and intriguing characters is believed to have made the forensic science degree much popular with the students. According to recent reports the number of students studying crime science and forensic science has more than doubled in the last five years. A survey of students led to the conclusion that about one- third of these students chose this profession due to its excessive coverage on world television.

The craze of this profession is so high that last year a report stated that in Britain the number of skilled workers was falling thanks to popularity of trendy courses such as forensic science. Contradicting the general view, many people feel that the rise in the popularity of criminology related courses was not due to shows like CSI. Many people feel that the students undertaking this course are not favored by employers as they feel that forensic science doesn’t have enough science. But whatever they may say, the fact is that CSI leaving its impact world over. It has revolutionized the world of criminology and the way people perceive it. Now after seeing CSI we are all more aware of what crime scene investigation is all about.

CSI is also leaving its mark in gaming industry. A new app called Seduce a Suicide Girl which has been written by the CSI creator, Anthony Zuiker has been a huge success. CSI is making the whole world experience the revolution in technology brought by it. Any thing which appears in the show becomes a trend. Various scientific tools shown in the show leave me obsessed. I am an ardent fan of the show. The unusual camera angles, hi-tech gadgets and the way crime is depicted are to vouch for.

And, much to the surprise of the fans, Jorja Fox returns to CSI show!

Well, I guess no one of us would have forgotten Sara Sidle from CSI. Sara, one of the important characters of the series, is a forensic scientist and during her first tenure on the series, we saw her investigating mind-twisting cases in and around Las Vegas City. She has a romantic relationship with her supervisor Gil Grissom. With her brilliant performance on the series, Jorja attracted millions of people throughout the world. It was October, 2007 when Jorja Fox left the series during its eighth season.  Fans protested to bring her back on the series but it didn’t give any fruits. Ultimately, we had to say bye to one of our favorite characters of CSI.

And, as of now, the CBS Network has confirmed that Jorja Fox would return on CSI. The lady, reprising her role of Sara Sidle, would be seen on several episodes of the upcoming season of series. Carol Mendelsohn, executive producer of the series, said, “We’re thrilled for Jorja’s return to CSI. The viewers and longtime CSI fans will be excited to discover where life has taken Sara Sidle and what brings her back to the CSI team in Las Vegas in our premiere episode”.

Jorja would be seen on the series as it returns with the tenth season on September 24, 2009. The season 10 opener is entitled Family Affair. The network has not released any more details about the upcoming episodes.     We are continuously trying to explore the hidden realities about CSI. There’re no doubts over the tremendous success of the ‘CSI’ TV show. Currently, series is running with ninth successful season, with the very recent episode aired on April 30, 2009. It was entitled ‘The Gone Dead Train’ and the next episodes in row are ‘Hog Heaven‘ and ‘All In‘, scheduled to be aired on May 7, 2009 and May 14, 2009.   The series is known as one of the surprise success stories of CBS Network. The best thing, according to me, about the series is that the episodes are very self-dependent and simple ones. Each episode has a good ending where the goodness always takes over the baddies…. Happy endings.

Last September, rumors spread out that CSI would take the form of a movie following the path of ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Friends‘. And, now, it has been confirmed that the movie version of the series would soon hit the theatres. Well, not sure how much soon! Truly saying, I am very much impressed by the CSI Franchise. Actually, these people know the actual meanings of being successful and popular also. We first got CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) - and it’s currently running with ninth season. Next came CSI: Miami, a spin-off of the original series, as of now, running with season 8. And, we then welcomed CSI: NY, another spin-off of the show, currently running with the fifth season. And, now those people have plans to bring the whole concept to big screen… amazing! Kudos to the brilliant minds, which are behind this great venture. Both the spin-offs of CSI managed to become equally popular as their predecessor and are receiving good ratings as well.

Which one is your favorite series among CSI, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY? Hello friends! Recently there was a debate on whether the CSI tv show has lost its charm. According to me the show has been doing quite well and I feel it has the potential to continue successfully for many more years. I agree that there might be one or two odd episodes that did not meet the expectations, but come on that is quite understandable for a show that has been on air for over eight years now. But, I am not here today to start off another unending debate about the future of CSI (although personally I feel that the show can continue endlessly). Today I am here to tell you about the star who is to make a guest appearance on CSI. Well it seems that both CSI and Charisma Carpenter have been smitten by each other. As per reports, the star who has been seen on shows like Veronica Mars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is going to make her special appearance on CSI during the last week of March. So people gear up to see the brunette beauty on one of your favorite shows named CSI which is currently airing its Season 9.

Reportedly, Charisma is to be seen playing the role of a skydiver in the episode named Descent of Man. Although the details of her role have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that her character will be named Mink and she will be harboring some dark secrets. Well, seems like the ever exciting CSI is going to give us another of its mystery moment doses. I am already excited and will eagerly wait for the airing of the episode. But then I eagerly wait for every episode of this best cops and crime series that I’ve ever watched. I love every aspect of the show and which I think shows the least violent scenes as compared to the other crime series. Whenever I watch any episode of CSI, I am always on the edge of my seat as the investigators solve cases which appear to have been left with nothing to go on. One gets unintentionally involved as each new case gets solved and this is what I feel endears the show to me!
