Eric Szmanda was born on 24 July 1975 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States of America. He was a student at the high school (in Mukwonago) and then studied at the Carroll College in Wisconsin. He is of the Polish descent. He is a supporter of the U.S. Campaign for Burma and he himself saw the condition of Burmese refugees at Thailand.
He has made his appearances on television for his roles in ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’, ‘Dodge’s City’ and ‘Snow Wonder‘. He has also appeared for ‘The Net’, ‘100 Girls’, ‘FreakyLinks‘, ‘True Vinyl’, ‘Rules of Attraction‘, ‘Little Athens‘ etc. He was also seen in the music video “(S)aint” by Marilyn Manson. He is an avid fan of Marilyn Manson.
He won the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2005 for the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’. He also earned the nomination for the same during 2002-2004.
