There’re no doubts over the tremendous success of the ‘CSI’ TV show. Currently, series is running with ninth successful season, with the very recent episode aired on April 30, 2009. It was entitled ‘The Gone Dead Train’ and the next episodes in row are ‘Hog Heaven‘ and ‘All In‘, scheduled to be aired on May 7, 2009 and May 14, 2009.   The series is known as one of the surprise success stories of CBS Network. The best thing, according to me, about the series is that the episodes are very self-dependent and simple ones. Each episode has a good ending where the goodness always takes over the baddies…. Happy endings.

Last September, rumors spread out that CSI would take the form of a movie following the path of ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Friends‘. And, now, it has been confirmed that the movie version of the series would soon hit the theatres. Well, not sure how much soon! Anyways, let the tiny little arrow come out of the quiver and I would be here to tell you J

Truly saying, I am very much impressed by the CSI Franchise. Actually, these people know the actual meanings of being successful and popular also. We first got CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) - and it’s currently running with ninth season. Next came CSI: Miami, a spin-off of the original series, as of now, running with season 8. And, we then welcomed CSI: NY, another spin-off of the show, currently running with the fifth season. And, now those people have plans to bring the whole concept to big screen… amazing! Kudos to the brilliant minds, which are behind this great venture. Both the spin-offs of CSI managed to become equally popular as their predecessor and are receiving good ratings as well.

Which one is your favorite series among CSI, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY? Hello friends! Recently there was a debate on whether the CSI tv show has lost its charm. According to me the show has been doing quite well and I feel it has the potential to continue successfully for many more years. I agree that there might be one or two odd episodes that did not meet the expectations, but come on that is quite understandable for a show that has been on air for over eight years now. But, I am not here today to start off another unending debate about the future of CSI (although personally I feel that the show can continue endlessly). Today I am here to tell you about the star who is to make a guest appearance on CSI. Well it seems that both CSI and Charisma Carpenter have been smitten by each other. As per reports, the star who has been seen on shows like Veronica Mars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is going to make her special appearance on CSI during the last week of March. So people gear up to see the brunette beauty on one of your favorite shows named CSI which is currently airing its Season 9.

Reportedly, Charisma is to be seen playing the role of a skydiver in the episode named Descent of Man. Although the details of her role have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that her character will be named Mink and she will be harboring some dark secrets. Well, seems like the ever exciting CSI is going to give us another of its mystery moment doses. I am already excited and will eagerly wait for the airing of the episode. But then I eagerly wait for every episode of this best cops and crime series that I’ve ever watched. I love every aspect of the show and which I think shows the least violent scenes as compared to the other crime series. Whenever I watch any episode of CSI, I am always on the edge of my seat as the investigators solve cases which appear to have been left with nothing to go on. One gets unintentionally involved as each new case gets solved and this is what I feel endears the show to me!

OMG!! What a tempting title… I was completely impressed. You know buddies, before you watch any episode, something is here which attracts you and induces you to watch next. Yeah, definitely, that’s title of the episode. Don’t know much about you but I really think so. Before watching an episode, I first look at the title of the episode. If it’s appealing, then, surely, episode will be a rocking one. It’s proven, man!

Okay, after appraising the sweet title, let’s come to the episode. Exactly as I expected, ‘Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda’ was a great episode of ninth season of CSI. Here, we saw the CSI team as they investigate the death of a woman. She’s married to a man who committed suicide several years ago. In the mean time, Natalie Davis’ fate was also decided. This episode reminded me of those CSI episodes when the team was split up to solve different cases. Natalie’s war of words with Gil was not as compelling as I initially expected. I must say that Nick’s case was easy and the laughs and jokes he shared with Catherine and Hodges added cheerfulness to the team. Riley also did ok and it was also strange to see her in Sara’s place. Rest of the team also did a very good job. But the biggest thing on this episode was Natalie. Wholly, I will give this episode 9 out of 10.

Next episode of CSI season 9 will be entitled ‘Young Man with a Horn’ and it will be aired on December 4, 08. Following it will be ’19 Down (1)’ and will be premiered on December 11, 08. Next episode whose titles have been released by the network are:

Season nine of CSI has arrived carrying a mystery in the first episode. But it made this season’s opening as more interesting. So my wait paid back well. You know what? This season has opened with bagging in 23 million viewers for this particular episode and the ratings are surprisingly high. The single episode has got rating of 13.7. Well, CSI is used to the high ratings. A winning habit you can say!

The things go fast in this episode. It begins with the radio news of a police officer being shot in an alleyway. When Grissom reaches the spot, he’s shocked. This is Officer Warrick Brown, severely wounded, slouched over his car wheel. Unfortunately he dies in the arms of Grissom, while trying to disclose his killer. The rest of the team arrives and everybody looks at dead Warrick with teary eyes.

The investigation starts with the eye witness, Undersheriff Jeff McKeen. He tells he heard a shot and saw a man rushing from Warrick’s vehicle into another car and suspects Officer Daniel Prichard, the mole in the department. Later investigations indicate that there was a loud music when Warrick was shot. Nick finds prints on the passenger side window of Warrick’s car, which point that somebody knocked on the window of the car. Nick believes that Warrick won’t roll down the window for his killer and obviously it is some known person. The bullet shell found from the car is from a destroyed handgun from a robbery case, when Prichard was the officer.

The team reaches the conclusion that McKeen is fabricating a story. Now the team goes for funeral preparations of Warrick at his place. There they find papers regarding custody battle of Warrick’s son, which he kept hidden from the entire team.

When team goes in search of McKeen, they find that Prichard and McKeen have planned the whole thing together. During this rat chase, Prichard dies due to car accident. While injured McKeen survives, who gets arrested by the team and reveals his guilt.

Cool episode, an eyewitness is the actual culprit. I’ve watched it twice and it’s still not enough.

Aloha!!! I know the tagline is enough to cheer you up, but now get a hold on your excitement and read ahead for the greater chunk. It’s unbelievable but true that CSI has a solid planning to bring a movie based upon the series. The inspiration? Bingo…. “Sex and the City” off course. But hey! The news of “Friends” movie deserves the equal credit.

So finally, Peterson speaks out his heart for the movie. He knows that his fans are angry that he’s leaving the show as Laurence Fishburne is replacing him. That’s why he’s got this hot cake in his plate to sweeten your mouth. He says that he’s glad there are talks going on about the CSI movie and he would love to work in that. This is the reason that why Grissom won’t die of brain tumor in the series. After all, this blockbuster series has to turn into a blockbuster movie, Amen!

Peterson has hinted over that soon the Grissom’s team can be seen on the big screen. Along with this he expressed out his expectations from the movie. He is of the opinion that the movie shouldn’t be just an extended story; rather it should be vastly different from the series but still maintaining its identity.

I too want the CSI movie with a little more bang bang and a major bite of suspense till the end of the movie. I won’t even mind some advanced gizmos in occupation of the team. Hey its movie man so everything should be more than perfect. A big budget movie with mind boggling story, so that it won’t be enough watching it once.

I am sure CSI creators can definitely do it. They have brought three series of CSI and the original one is now in its ninth season. So the three hour movie is not a big thing for those guys. Moreover making movie out of a TV series is actually a daring step and if they take it then making it successful is just another step for them. I wish them luck. Go ahead guys!!!!!

With the 9th season of CSI just around the corner, I am excited to know that Laurence Fishburne is going to join the show. But the only thing I am sorry about is that Gil Grissom(William Peterson) is leaving the show. He is such a darling and he has been with the show since the very first season. I wonder what CSI would be without him. The buzz is that William Peterson will remain with the show till early months of 2009. I just hope creators don’t kill him out of the show.

But what has taken my fancy is that Laurence Fishburne will join the show as a former pathologist now working as a lecturer of a college, teaching a course in the criminalistics. Now I had heard about criminology, and statistics but criminalistics….May be its statistics on criminals. Anyway Fishburne is returning to TV after a long time and I am sure he would have found the character interesting enough to make a come back on TV.

It’s never easy to replace a beloved and veteran character of a series which has run for so many seasons but I am sure Laurence will make this new character as memorable as Gil Grissom.

In a press conference Laurence admitted that he had not seen a single episode of CSI until he was approached by the Naren Shankar and Carol Mendelsohn, the makers of the series. But he was so impressed to see a few episodes sent to him that he was a fan of CSI now. Aren’t we all?

Hey guys, you must have heard that William Peterson is going away from CSI. Well I was searching about him on internet and then I reached a CSI news site, there I got some pacifying information about CSI. Well if Gil is going out of the show, then they guys are introducing a new guy on his place in the show. I read there that this person will join Gil in two episodes before his departure. Here are the continuous speculations that this character is gonna add some different spice to the show.

According to zap2it, the executive producer Naren Shankar shared that this character is a professor of criminalistics and meets Gil and he starts in CSI from level one. The most amazing thing about this character is that he will be having a specific genetic structure which is similar to the genetics of a serial killer. He himself is also aware of his trait. But he is a great researcher and having a background in Pathology too so he will pave his way in CSI and finally replacing Gil. Moreover he will be little fickle character in comparison to Gil. As he is a specific genetic structure so it is natural that at some moments he may be violent or prone to anger as well.

In fact previously too the CBS President Nina Tassler stated once that the new character will be having dual personality. Wow! I am pretty excited to watch the upcoming CSI with this new character. I am wondering over a show’s being such amazing. As this is already a hit all over the globe and have uncountable number of fans and they guys are still improving this show by adding a new stuff. Otherwise who can believe that after removing the main character from a show, somebody expects perpetuality of its previous success? But CSI is proving this assumption to be wrong.

They are introducing a new and improved character in place of the old one and thus adding more curiosity for the audiences. This is called creativity and what I like about this show.

I am talking about Gilbert Arthur “Gil” Grissom, the supervisor of Las Vegas CSI unit and a forensic entomologist. Hey can you believe he is leaving the CSI, now I don’t know its rumor or truth. A few days back I read on some TV news site that he has renewed his contract with the CSI on July 15th, but after a couple of days I read that he is really leaving the CSI. I got this information on zap2it.com that the CBS entertainment President Nina Tassler shared with its reporters that somebody will replace him but not in the same role. He will appear until the tenth episode of ninth season. She also told that his character will not get any kind of tragic end.

Oh we will miss Gil on the show. I like these intellectual kinds of characters on Crime Investigation series. He is the brilliant man on the show and I like his proficiency in sign languages. In an episode it was shown that he has a trouble with his hearing ability, but later on he got it treated. I wonder he got engaged with Sara once but suddenly Sara disappeared after having a difficulty in some case and left a note for him. Now nobody knows whether she will come back in the ninth season or not. But anyways what’s the use of her coming back now when Gil will also be replaced. Does anybody know who will replace William Peterson? Well there are several speculative names but no name is final yet. But yes I’ve heard the rumors that the new character is not going to play Gil at least. He will play completely a new character and I hope he will bring a sort of freshness to the show.

Besides this I’ve also read on Zap2it that Megalyn Echikunwoke is going to play the new Coroner, replacing Khandi Alexander on CSI Miami. Khandi is playing Alexx Woods, the medical examiner over there. We’ve seen Megalyn in 4400 and Supernatural.

Whatever changes the show brings, I just love the CSI in every form. This is the unique show of its kind on TV.

Is it pretty unbelievable? Well may be it is not the most favorite show in America, but as per the New York Post reports it is the most watched show in the whole world. ( Download it here ) In 2007 too the show bagged 83.9 million viewers in the entire world. The funny part is that it beated down its own spin offs like CSI: Miami. This is not just enough; the show also leads in ranking than the other popular shows like ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘House’. It is the second year in a row CSI has won that accolade.

The CBS forensic series created by Anthony E. Zuiker is now officially the world’s most watched show. CSI premiered in 2000 and has quickly earned a sound fan following. Who won’t love the mysteries exposed in a logical way. The series centers on the investigation of a team of Las Vegas Forensic scientists, as they unveil the circumstances behind the mysterious crimes.

Two years later the series moved to the spin offs named CSI: Miami and CSI: NY set in the cities Miami, Florida and New York City respectively. The show has got good ratings in United Sates as well. CSI is now among top 20 series in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

To me the show does not only entertain but it updates you with the technology available for the crime detection as well as aware you towards the growing crime rate.

Episode opens with mourners gathered at a funeral which comes to a shocking halt when the coffin reveals not one but two dead bodies. Second man is Leonard Hayner, a former cop. When Warrick recognizes the man, got shocked, this was so natural.

Lou Gedda, a mob with Warrick has matted in past and Archie finds a taped PI session with him from Hayner’s files. Warrick is got arrested in case of murder and is interrogated by IAB officer, Wagenbach. Warrick claims that he doesn’t remember anything after Gedda’s call. Evidences are against him: Warrick’s handcuffs were holding Gedda, he’s covered with his blood and Gedda’s body is having bullets from Warrick’s gun. Even Warrick admits how damning the evidence is, but he sticks to his story that he can’t recall what happened.

Ecklie is asked by Grissom to see the files for the case and Ecklie do agree to make copies for him. Warrick is being encouraged by Catherine. Hodges, Nick and Grissom find a clue indicating that someone could have been holding Warrick from behind and firing. Grissom discovers that handcuffs Gedda was bound with were three millimeter thicker than Warrick’s. Catherine finds chloroform in PI’s body which links his murder to Gedda’s. Finally, Grissom is able to identify fingerprints from one officer at both scenes, and on the coffin the PI’s body was found in: Daniel Pritchard. Grissom tells CSI that Warrick is going to be freed. So, Warrick, a free man once again, takes the whole team to dive diner for breakfast. Episode was great, how brilliantly they planned each and every thing. Everyone was known that Warrick is innocent but it was so mysterious to see how he’ll be escaped. My best pick of the episode:

Grissom: Is that your gun?
Warrick: Yeah.
Grissom: Are those your cuffs?
Warrick: I guess so.
Grissom: We need to get you a lawyer.
